All Members, Winter Residents, Family and Friends,

Greeting on this Third Day of Advent!  The clock is ticking and things are moving forward to the celebration of Christ’s first coming!  But we still wait patiently for Christ’s Second Coming!  So we anticipate and we prepare both at the same time.  We are here this side of heaven to learn and read as much as we can to be prepared for the day when the Lord calls us to be with Him, The Father and the Holy Spirit for an Eternity in the heavenly splendor.  Unfortunately we do not spend enough as we are so easily distracted.  We have made it through Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday and life moves forward.  So we prepare our spirits to receive Christ the Newborn King once again this year.  Our mid-week Advent service will focus on some prophecies from the Old Testament.

          Mid-Week Advent Services                 Wednesdays 4:00PM

Craft’s with Linda and Julie                 Fridays 2:00PM

          Worship                                               Sunday 10:00AM

I mentioned after church on Sunday that I thought I would do a new member orientation next Tuesday, but I got to thinking why don’t we do it right after our mid-week Advent service next Wednesday like 5:00PM.  It is still light out and I will have you out by 6:00PM.  If you cannot make it and would still like to join Trinity as a Communicant Member or and Associate Member (which would will be explained to you if you are interested.) let me know via email with the proper spelling of you names for the Membership Certificates!

On Sunday December 15th, 2019 immediately following Church we will have our first “Monthly Mingle” pot-luck luncheon in the Trinity Life Center!  Bring a dish to pass and come and “Mingle” with member, winter residents and maybe some visitors!

On Sunday December 15th at 4:00PM the Trinity Tots Preschool will have their Christmas Program.  Come and support the staff and students and meet some of the Parents and maybe invite them to church on Sunday.

We will be making and announcement on Sunday (hopefully) about a few families that we would like to help for Christmas!

Thank you for the outpouring of “kid friendly” food for the Lake Placid Middle School!  You hit it out of the park.  Remember every first Sunday we will be having such a collection for those students we come from lower income families.

Have a great week!
