Greetings on this fine Tuesday the 14th day of May 2024! Sorry I did not get this email out yesterday but many things going on around here this week.
People at times ask “what do we do with undesignated memorials that we have received in memory of someone?” Well you may notice that I have attached two pictures of our latest acquisition here at Trinity, purchased through memorials and edowment funds that we have. No general fund money was spent on this 6 passenger golf cart. We are not going to be using this for maintanance. This will be used hopefully on Sunday mornings to bring people to the front door from the parking lot. It was a great find at a great price, even comes with over a year factory warranty!
This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday! Please wear Red as we celebrate the Birthday of the Christian Church this Pentecost 2024!
Following church on Sunday morning Susan will need some help moving the Altar and other items. Sunday afternoon at 4:00PM is the closing program for the Trinity Tots Students. We will need all the chairs set up, tables taken down in the back and everything set as we will have a full house for the program.
Please remember that on May 27th and 28th, the offices of Trinity Lutheran Church will be closed. The reason “Window World” will be here replacing all the Windows in the church with wind resistent windows. These windows are double pane windows are rated for winds up to 175 miles per hour. So they should help us reduce our electricity bills and cut down outside noise. Again these windows are considered a capital investment and no general fund money is being used to purchase these windows.
Additionally on these two days the Trustees will be painting the kitchen. This is a project that has been talked about for a long time and will be accomplished on May 27th and 28th, while the office are closed. Summer School for Trinity Tots is scheduled to resume on Wednesday May 29th, 2024.
