All Members, Winter Residents, Family and Friends,
Greeting on this 3rd day of June already! So many wonderful things happening in all of our lives this spring and we are grateful for all the blessings of graduations, weddings and just plain old family gatherings. So please stay healthy and safe as you move around this summer.
Please find attached a brief but important June Monthly Newsletter. There will be no Newsletters in July or August.
Please remember that we are collecting peanut butter and jelly for Manna Ministry for the month of June. Please bring it to the church and place it in a bin in the narthex.
Also, if you are so inclined my daughter Debbie (Norris) Spencer, Assistant Director of the Child Life Department of Advent Hospital, Orlando said that her department needs NEW stuff animals. So, if you are out and about, please pick one or two up and bring them to church and place them in the designated bin in the narthex.
If you are out of town and would like to participate in our gathering of either Peanut Butter and Jelly or the New Stuffed Animals
you can simply send a check to the church and mark in the memo P.B.J. or S.A. Thanks in advance for ALL of your support.
Just a heads up for something different. President/Elder Mike Bardon has been working on a series of simple one and done Bible Study/Discussions that he will be leading starting in the month of August at 8:30AM each Sunday. We are trying something a little different to perhaps attract some new people. Pastor Norris is also thinking about starting a “Book Reading Club”. This would be a participant active discussion group as we discuss a certain book. Pastor is looking for suggestions for a good Christian Author or Christian related book for this discussion group to look at. This is something totally new and different from previous studies and Pastor has never done anything like this but is willing to try if there is interest.
