All Members, Winter Residents, Family and Friends,
Greetings on this Monday evening. Susan and I just get back into town today about two and we have already hit the ground running with different things that need to be done. We had a great time in the Florida Keys with family and friends! Yes Susan had a nice birthday! And yes we did limit for the extra day of Lobster Season yesterday. We had 42 legal size Florida lobsters on board in 55 minutes. So we thank God for a bountiful harvest divided between 7 individuals in the boat.
I want to thank Rev. Olckers as well as Mike and Pam Bardon for leading worship the past two weeks in Susan and my absence.
I heard that the fellowship time following church on Sunday went spledidly. We are grateful to the Farleys for spearheading this for us. People are already planning future ones.
Tomorrow morning the County Commissioners will be discussing the Fire Assessment issue. It is part of a normal meeting, not a special one, and many Pastor’s from the community including myself are planning on attending.
Susan will be having her Knee Replacement Surgery on Wednesday some time. We have not been told when as of today. So we may not be around to much Thursday or Friday depending on how things go Wednesday. So please pray for Susan, thank you. (And for me as I am her primary caregiver.)
I have attached my sermon for Sunday on the miraculous feeding of the five thousand.
See you all Sunday! Have a great week and make it great for some one else as well.
