Greetings on this 1st day of October! Amid the devastating after affects of Hurricane Helene, so many are in need of help. The Florida Georgia District is working and walking alongside our partners throughout our district, neighboring districts, and synod. It can be confusing where to send donations. Last year we benefitted from the generosity of our district and synod partners when we needed our roof replaced. We received $20,000.00 in help for this project from the district and synod. Of course, you can make donations to the agency of your choice helping others. However, on Sunday we will be collecting a special offering to give to our district to help those who have lost so much. So please come prepared to donate on Sunday and we will be sure to send our collective donations to the FL/GA District Disaster Fund!
